Amitis is 7 Km north of Naxos Town (Hora). It is a beach with fine sand without any tourism infrastructure. Amitis beach can be accessed via either Galini Village (the southern part of Amitis) or Eggares Village (the north part of Amitis). It is protected from south winds and the beach is perfect when wind blows from south. As it faces the north, it is exposed to north winds and it can be rough when wind blows from the north.
